Support services are aimed at
-
Enhance teachers’ understanding of STEAM education, artificial intelligence (AI), and self-directed learning, and develop students’ STEAM-related subject knowledge, skills, and 21st-century competencies through classroom practices.

Strengthen teachers’ capacity to design STEAM learning experiences, particularly by integrating AI learning elements into STEAM activities, with the aim of fostering students’ scientific literacy, innovative thinking, and self-directed learning capabilities.

Enhance teachers’ ability to promote students’ digital literacy and values education through STEAM education.

Support teachers in designing and implementing STEAM education with the use of e-learning technologies, such as the Learning Design Studio and the iLAP learning management platform.

Promote collaboration among schools and scale up educational innovation through a multi-level school leadership network.

Welcome to join us!

Schools can apply for up to two school-based support services. To further promote curriculum development, kindergartens and schools may also apply for the following "Recommended Services" in addition to the main services, including:
(i) "Mainland China and Hong Kong Teacher Exchange and Collaboration Program",
(ii) ''Support services for kindergartens/schools receiving non-Chinese speaking children/students'', and
(iii) "Primary Curriculum Coordinator Learning Community: Promoting Curriculum Initiatives and Developing Curriculum Leadership." -

Schools interested in participating in the support scheme may apply for the “Innovation Network for STEAM Mature, AI Ready Talents (IN-SMART)” support services via the Education Bureau’s "Common Log-On System" (CLO) between 8 April and 30 April 2025 (Online Application Number: B4).

Schools can access the “School-based Support Services Online Application System” through the Education Bureau’s “Unified Login System” (http://clo.edb.gov.hk/) to apply for support services. For inquiries, please contact:
